Chambered Solidbody

The 59er feels like a classic solidbody guitar but comes with all the benefits of a chambered construction.

With reference to classic electric guitar construction, maple and mahogany are the woods of choice for the 59er. Its neck and main body is made from fine mahogany, which perfectly supports the overall idea of tone and attitude for this instrument. The body is then sound chambered to further improve weight and resonance characteristics. Finally, this is literally topped by a solid, arched flamed maple top which we hand select for a beautiful, yet natural grain.

The 59er Series comes in four beautiful color options: Tobacco Burst, Gold Top, Outlaw and Black.

Pearly Trebles

Two GrandVintage humbuckers deliver true rock tone with a twist.

Keeping in mind what the 59er will be used for primarily, we fitted her with two of our fine GrandVintage humbuckers, providing her with the tools to become what she was meant to be - a real rock guitar.

Still, we wanted to give her the ability to deliver clear, transparent sounds. Therefore, in the middle position of the pickup selector, certain low end frequencies are filtered out of the signal of the bridge humbucker, clearing up the mix and adding the pearly trebles we all love.

Z-Tuners

We believe tuning your instrument yourself is an important moment before actually playing it.

Duesenberg Z-Tuners are specifically made to give you a super smooth and precise feel when tuning. They also allow you to elegantly hide the end of the cut-off string inside the tuner shaft so it's not damaging your case, gigbag or fingertips.

Maintenance-free life - guaranteed.

PLEKED FRETBOARD

The fretboard is to your music, what the handle of a brush is to a painting.

It says a lot about an instrument how much care was taken here.

Every single Duesenberg instrument is expertly pleked for buzz-free playability all throughout the fretboard. It is then carefully finished by hand and precisely set up by one of our professional luthiers. The luthier responsible also leaves his or her signature inside the instrument.

This all is our promise to you that a Duesenberg instrument will always feel great in your hands.

Nickel Hardware

Most of our hardware is nickel finished.

You will find the geometrical three steps in almost every part on our instruments, from the curves on the headstock to the shape of the output jack.

When compared to regular chrome finishes, nickel has a beautiful warm and elegant sheen and ages naturally over time. It's the way things were done before chrome became the standard. If you don't want the hardware on your instrument to age, we recommend regular cleaning.
