"This Duesenberg Alliance Series is a straight-up rocker"
Jeff DaRosa

Duesenberg and the Dropkick Murphys team up once again for a unique new guitar, ready for every festival stage in the world.
You might call this the smaller cousin of the Dropkick Murphys Alliance guitar but definitely with a bigger punch.

Jeff DaRosa & the Dropkick Murphys

Jeff DaRosa, the rock multi-instrumentalist and a member of the Boston-based punk band The Dropkick Murphys, has collaborated once again with Duesenberg and together we have come up with this amazing guitar which has one pickup but three completely different sounds.

These sounds are paramount for the Dropkick Murphy sound that we all know and mirrors the life growing up on the streets of Boston, Massachusetts.

Jeff goes into more detail by telling us the following, "When we go into the Studio, Tim likes to use his humbucker semi-acoustic and James goes on the other side with his humbucker solidbody and I like to go straight up through the middle with a single coil sound. But I also need something to kick ass live on stage and my new Duesenberg Alliance Series does all of this, so now I have found my perfect guitar."

The ultimate Punk Rock Machine

The Alliance Series Jeff DaRosa brings you a single Split/King pickup at the bridge.

This pickup can switch between real humbucker and real singlecoil mode. But it is not the splittable humbucker you might expect.
It actually houses a real singlecoil which can be extended to a full humbucker with a second, specially designed coil to actually deliver the best of both worlds. As a third option, the pickup can be set into an in between mode where both coils are mixed in a special way to give you even more flexibilty.

The Alliance Series Jeff DaRosa is based on our brand new Senior design but comes in a breath-taking all over Catalina Green Burst finish with a nickel finished armrest, Duesenberg "Wing" fretboard inlays and a laser-etched single volume control.

Handsigned Certificate

This Alliance Series guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity hand-signed by Jeff DaRosa, Duesenberg CEO Ingo Renner and the luthier who finished the instrument.

Nickel Hardware

Most of our hardware is nickel finished.

You will find the geometrical three steps in almost every part on our instruments, from the curves on the headstock to the shape of the output jack.

When compared to regular chrome finishes, nickel has a beautiful warm and elegant sheen and ages naturally over time. It's the way things were done before chrome became the standard. If you don't want the hardware on your instrument to age, we recommend regular cleaning.

Made to hold something that lasts

A good case is one that's more sturdy than what's inside.

Handsome, laid-back and simply a good place for your instrument. Meet the Duesenberg Custom Line Cases. True flightcase quality, classically shaped, beautifully handcrafted and made to endure the most realistic and unrealistic abuses. It's a case you can just throw in the back of a car, train or airplane and won't have to worry about.

This instrument comes including the Duesenberg Custom Line Case as standard.

Choose Type

Semi Hollow

Bent sides and glued on top and back. Added solid center block. The classic construction. Semi-Hollow instruments combine the distinct tone of a hollow construction with the feedback resistance of a solid body. Extremely versatile.

Chambered

A solid body that features big sound chambers for enhanced tone and weight reduction. Particularly characteristic tone somewhere between a solid and semi-hollow construction.

Solidbody

Made from a single slab of wood. Delivers instant response, a lot of attack and sustain and perfect feedback resistance.
